what a sleep deprived, full, productive, fulfilling weekend. aaahhh... the best part is the new table i have, which i'm currently typing on! i also got some chairs, floor lamp, and mini bookcase, all for 60bucks! some dude in riverdale, moving to china... means cheap used goods for me!
this has allowed me to unpack the last of my boxes, mostly books, but (re)found my tibetan singing bowl, a crappy painting i did at a bayou weekend years ago, books (like most brown people might have little altars of deities in their homes, i feel that there are certain few dozen books i've carried around with my through the years that, though i don't read/reread ever, they just make me feel GOOD when they are around and displayed), especially this che guevara illustrated reader...
the che guevara illustrated reader... i put it on the coffee table so i might start looking at it. it looks sorta like those comic book bibles they give out on college campuses (or at least they did at LSMSA), but obviously not about jeebus but about latin/south american revolutions, etc... it looks like so much fun, and the best part is that it just showed up on my doorstep in midcity, nola, several months ago... i had thought gina mailed it to someone in neworleans, or sent it with some common ground people, to put on my doorstep, but she denies it... so there is some mystery surrounding it!
but alas i've slept a total of like 11 hrs since i woke up friday morning, and i wanna read a buncha stuff and talk to people on the phone and rearrange my apartment and listen to my music, but i hafta wake up in 7 hrs (wah!), and i'm typing like a drunk or something cause i'm so exhausted, so i wish i had more, but i'm DONE!!!!
